WhatsApp bulk messaging, the approved way
Send an approved template to your whole list, see who read and replied, and let an AI agent answer every response — on Meta's official API, with opt-outs honoured automatically.
Why numbers get banned
Tools that send bulk WhatsApp messages through personal numbers or WhatsApp Web break WhatsApp's terms. Those numbers get restricted or banned without appeal, and they can't use buttons or approved templates. The only reliable way to message a list on WhatsApp is Meta's official WhatsApp Business API with templates Meta has approved.
How an Altrnative campaign works
- Upload your list — a CSV with a phone column. Every other column can fill the message. Rows that can't be sent are listed with the reason before anything goes out; anyone who opted out is removed.
- Pick an approved template and fill its values from your columns — the preview shows the message exactly as WhatsApp will.
- Test on your own number, reply to it, and watch the agent answer. Test messages never count in results.
- Send now or schedule it. Sending runs on our servers — close the page and it keeps going, paced to your number's Meta limit. Pause, resume, stop or retry failures at any time.
What you get back
Every contact shows as sent, delivered, read, replied, pressed the button, no answer, failed (with Meta's reason) or opted out. If an AI agent answers replies, the fields it captures — budget, date, interest — land in the same table. Export to CSV or Excel.
Staying safe at scale
- Opt-outs are automatic. Anyone who replies STOP, "unsubscribe" or "band karo" is never messaged from that number again.
- Never twice. A retried batch replays instead of messaging people twice.
- Paced to Meta's limits. Sending slows down when Meta asks it to, and a template Meta rejects pauses the campaign with the reason instead of failing thousands of rows.
Questions
Is WhatsApp bulk messaging legal?
Yes, through Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, with approved templates, to people who agreed to hear from you, and honouring opt-outs. Bulk sending through personal numbers or WhatsApp Web automation breaks WhatsApp's terms and gets numbers banned.
How many WhatsApp messages can I send in a day?
Meta sets a daily limit per number on how many different people you can message, and raises it in tiers while your quality rating stays good. Altrnative reads your number's tier where Meta shares it and paces sending to it.
How do I avoid my WhatsApp number getting blocked?
Use the official API, send only approved templates to people who opted in, honour every opt-out, and keep your quality rating healthy by sending messages people want. Altrnative handles opt-outs and pacing automatically.
What does a WhatsApp bulk message cost?
Meta charges per template delivered — ₹0.8631 for marketing and ₹0.115 for utility in India today. Altrnative adds 10% when you only send, or ₹0.30 per conversation when an AI agent answers the replies.
Can an AI answer the replies to my campaign?
Yes. Pick one of your agents for the campaign and it answers everyone who replies, captures what you asked for, and hands over to you when it should.
